Jeff is thrilled to come full-circle and return to the Beaches as the Chief Executive Officer of BEAM almost three decades after his first job running a drop-out prevention program at Flether HS in the late 90s.

Prior to joining BEAM in November 2024, Jeff worked with United Way of Northeast Florida for 17 years, where he most recently served as the Head of Basic Needs.  In this role, he administered a funding portfolio to local agencies that provide foundational services to individuals and families in poverty or who are ALICE.  He also oversaw the build-out and launch of the regional 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline; United Way’s Mission United, a regional initiative that helps veterans and their families navigate and access community resources; and United Way’s 2-1-1 Information & Referral Helpline. During the pandemic, Jeff also served as the lead administrator for the City of Jacksonville’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which provided over $25M in rent and utility assistance to families impacted by COVID.

Jeff is from Sarasota, FL, but fell in love with Jacksonville ever since attending and graduating from Jacksonville University.  His personal mission is help those who are vulnerable and less fortunate, thereby making our community stronger and a better place.

Jeff is a graduate of United Way Worldwide’s Global Resident Fellows program, a recipient of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award, alumni of Leadership Jacksonville’s Class of 2015 and graduate of the 2021 Northeast Florida Regional Council’s Regional Leadership Academy.

When not working, Jeff loves his crazy and busy life with his wife Tyler, and his two sons, Colton and Spencer.
